Anthony Joshua’s Statement
“The responsibility is being a champion. So for me, it had been important to only quite take outing . “I’m still very hungry and disciplined, so i would like to steamroll through him. that is the fighter’s talk beginning . thereupon being said, it takes tons of coaching within the gym which is what training camp is about.”
Pulev’s Comments to Joshua & Kubrat Pulev apologises for Anthony Joshua ‘tan’ comment
Heavyweight contender Kubrat Pulev is not any stranger to controversy, but he denies the newest claims that he made a racially fueled comment about upcoming opponent Anthony Joshua.
Pulev will challenge Joshua for the WBA, IBO, IBF and WBO titles on December 12 within the UK.
At a recent news conference , Pulev made a comment, with reference to Joshua’s complexion , that raised some eyebrows.
“His strengths? I’d say he features a very powerful punch undeniably,” Pulev said. “What are his other strengths? His tan is best than mine.”
Once his statement began to circulate, the boxer found himself under attack on social media.
Pulev has now released a press release to reply to the accusations – explaining that his words were taken out of context.
“I would never, under any circumstances, allow myself to point out disrespect to a different person on racial, ethnic or religious grounds. that is what i have been teaching my little nephews all the time. Each folks is born on this earth with equal rights, and complexion is totally irrelevant,” Pulev said.
“I can’t believe how my words about Anthony Joshua are taken out of context. It never even occurred to me to discredit another sportsman due to the colour of his skin! Amongst my friends there are people of various races and ethnicities. they’re all great and worthy people, also as my excellent , long-standing friends whom I respect and love.
“It is 2020 which i considerably hope that folks would stop this small-mindedness and that citizenry would evolve intellectually to understand that the truly valuable human qualities during this world aren’t manifested externally, but through the facility of the human spirit and therefore the virtues we feature within ourselves! Therefore, if somebody has been offended by my words, I hope they might attempt to understand exactly what I meant by them and if they can’t understand me, then accept my sincere apology.

Promoter Bob Arum is confident that Anthony Joshua isn’t getting past Kubrat Pulev.
Last Year, Anthony Joshua lost his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles to Andy Ruiz Jr. via a TKO. However, he recaptured them during a rematch—via a unanimous decision—almost seven months later. In his next match, Joshua will bully off against IBF mandatory challenger, Kubrat Pulev. The bout is about to require place in June at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Bob Arum believes that Anthony Joshua won’t conquer Kubrat Pulev
“I keep telling people, and that i mean it, that Joshua isn’t gonna overcome Pulev. Joshua has got to be suspect. Forget his victory over Ruiz in Saudi Arabia . I mean, Ruiz disgraced himself with the condition he came in at.” Bob Arum told Boxing Scene.
“He (Ruiz) didn’t have the facility to knock out ordinary heavyweights…. So, the very fact that he could knock out Joshua, and knock him out the way he did, makes Joshua very suspect to me. And Pulev may be a hell of tons better and stronger fighter than Andy Ruiz. So, I give Pulev a hell of an attempt to knock out Joshua,” Arum said.
Note: After the fight, if Joshua remains the champion, he can bag another big fight against the WBC heavyweight champion of the planet . watching the present situation, Tyson Fury will defend his belt against another heavyweight, following the expiration of Wilder’s rematch clause.
